Welcome to Clean Water Wishes

We are now collecting donations for our Cambodian Initiative! All donations will be sent  to the Sao Sary Foundation to directly fund construction and installation of bio-sand water filters.  We hope to aid other foundations and provide resources and materials necessary to fulfill our mission of enabling access of clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

Taing Krâsaing, Kampong Thum, Cambodia is one of the sixteen villages that have been provided bio-sand water filters by the Sao Sary Foundation, and a village I visited myself. Over 1,300 filters for 1,500 households have been built through Water for Life to provide communities with safe, clean water to drink. Providing clean water breaks the harmful cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and human trafficking by cutting it off at the source. Without clean water, illnesses and diseases such as typhoid and other water borne illnesses are very prevalent. Hospital/medical bills can draw from money that would otherwise have been used for food and/or other necessities. Families can accumulate debt  for such bills which in turn may lead them to resort to selling their children into slavery. It has been shown that the filters have dramatically stunted this cycle, and improved health in these villages. This in turn allows family members to continue working and providing for their families and enables them to afford sending their children to school. Clean Water Wishes is a non-profit organization with the aim to bring clean water to the world! Click the ‘Donate’ button on our site and help end extreme poverty through water filtration!

Clean Water

By providing water filtration to communities it breaks the cycle of poverty, human trafficking, illiteracy, and disease. We cut off these issues at their root, which enables a healthier more productive life.
